COSTA MESA, Calif., Oct. 2, 2003 — Three Costa Mesa churches and Vanguard University
announced today an open invitation to “HULLABALOO”—a free carnival-style event at the Orange
County Fair and Exposition Center on Friday, October 31, 2003, 5–9 p.m. The free community event
offers fun and safe activities for all ages, including: 50 booths, a variety of inflatable activities, a dunk
tank, a climbing wall, a photo booth, a petting zoo, a local fire engine and crew, oodles of free candy and
popcorn, and more.
Admission, parking, all activities, and candy are free. Food will be available for a small cost. Costumes
are welcome; masks will not be allowed for safety reasons. Event attendees should enter off Arlington
Drive at Gate 4.
The three churches hosting the event are Newport Mesa Christian Center, The Crossing, and
