I live in an apartment in an area where parking is terrible. At night the streets look like the I405 during rush hour. Thank God the building owner graced each of us with one single car garage per unit. Which is perfect since I only have, and need one car. The garage faces a small alley that is two lanes wide. Every night I come home late from either school or work. Imagine my rage to come home exhausted from a long day at work, anxiously anticipating a warm shower and soft bed only to find my garage block by someone’s car. This is ridiculous, he is parking right in front of my garage! After searching around the neighborhood for half a f**ing hour I ended up parking at a friends house 3 blocks away. After making sure my car was safe, I packed up all my belongings and walked home. While trekking through the cold dark night I wondered if I have a right to tow that car. I live in Costa Mesa, CA, do I have the right to tow his car?

I have to make a record player for a project but I’ve got that all sorted out. Now I just need one of those old records to see if it works. Any ideas on where to find records? I’d prefer a store, as the project is due Monday. Area : around LA, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Laguna Beach, Newport, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Orange County basically.

“I like to listen to all kinds of music and yes, I like to dance! But I don’t know how to very well :S but yeah I love it!! I think the same about dancing in pairs, it’s very pretty when they know how. I like to dance salsa, merengue, cumbia, techno… hmm and also raggaeton a little bit. I dropped photography because I took a lot of subjects, and photography takes a lot of time haha but I will take your advice of taking photos of monkeys haha it’s very funny :)
Your class sounds very interesting, never would I have imagined that in economic they teach that, what a shame that you never get to play the games :( … What are your favorite board games? I like Risk, Life, chess, and Uno.

Ahh! I had forgotten to tell you, I’m already in Costa Rica! And I already begun my classes, all of them are interesting, I like them :) All of them are theoretical. I have one called “bionica,” and it’s design inspired by nature, it’s very pretty! In the intro to this class, we looked at robots as an example, because they are pure bionics (like the bionic man or woman), and we watched a video about androids, it scares me!! Because they appear real, but they move like robots. I couldn’t believe that already existed, it scares me.

Please make corrections, even if they are very specific ones. I had some trouble with the last full paragraph, especially with its last sentence, about the androids and all. Make every correction! Even if I translated something correctly, but its exact meaning was lost in my translation.

Thank you :)

I have been saving for a year for a car, and now I have about $4000 in my bank. I’m a Senior in High School and I’m planning to attend UC Irvine this August. But my parents strongly disagree in me buying a car because 1. I just got my license, 2. she said college has prepared everything for freshmens so I won’t need a car, and 3. parking lot and insurance fee are too expensive for people under 21.
What she said make sense to me, but I don’t think I’ll survive without a car. Because I grew up in Asia, I’ll be going to Costa Mesa a lot to get stuff that can’t find in Albertson or Vons. Also since I used to live in that area, I’ll like to visit my friend that goes to M SAC, which is 30 min driving away from Irvine.
Once when my parents went to China, and I lived alone for 2 weeks, I found myself needing to use the car everyday, like buying water, going to the Post Office, etc…
So I want to ask how important is a car to you in college. Will I survive without a car?
